Here is the timeline for our big day, as well as important events preceding our nuptials.
Settle in, relax, and enjoy yourself in the beautiful area surrounding Foresthill, California. Situated amidst peaking mountains, soaring redwood trees, and nostalgic historical miner’s camps, Foresthill is a charming and quaint little town right on the edge of Tahoe National Forest.
Rehearsals will take place one day prior to the ceremony. Further information regarding this event will be communicated to those attending closer to the date of the festivities.
Mingle with guests before the ceremony and enjoy an expanse of games, including poker, cornhole, ping pong, air hockey, shuffleboard, pool, and more! Refreshments include drinks (both alcoholic and nonalcoholic) and small bites. Around 3pm, guests will began caravanning to the ceremony site just up the road.
Gather up the road to witness our ceremony among century old trees and majestic mountains. Please keep in mind, this venue is outdoors and it will be very chilly come November, so dress warm and don’t forget a coat!
Join our family and friends back at The Forest House Lodge for signature cocktails, wine, beer, nonalcoholic drinks, and hors d’oeuvres at our patio cocktail hour. Immediate family and the wedding party will be called away for photos, so stay ready for the camera!
Enjoy the feast and merriment of our reception. Bring your dancing shoes, appetite, and most of all – relax, laugh, and enjoy as we begin our journey as husband and wife!
Guests will line up outside as Zoe and Ryan do one last dance together. As the happy couple exists, guests will be encouraged to throw rose petals and celebrate one last time together on their weddding night.
