full scheduleDepending on the size of your group, we recommend booking a hotel nearby in Auburn, California or a rental property in Foresthill. Hotels are approximately a 25-30 car ride to both the ceremony and reception venues, while the rental properties are a lot closer and walkable. Unfortunately, we have chosen not to do a hotel-room block, so we do not have any influence over the rates of your hotel rooms.

This event will be a formal black tie event. We would like to use this as an opportunity for everybody to dress up and feel very fancy for the night.
The ceremony will be outdoors, however the cocktail hour and reception will take place indoors with the option of going out onto a back patio. It is not projected to snow but it will be November in the Sierras, so keep in mind the chilly weather.
We are planning on having the DJ until around 10pm, but we can keep the party going all night in the downstairs games area of the lodge with karaoke!

Yes, children are allowed at both the ceremony and the reception. Please check your invitation to see how many seats we have reserved for your little ones!

Unfortunately, the wedding venue we have chosen does not allow guests to bring their dogs.
Whichever is easiest for you! We have included an RSVP card with prepaid postage if you aren't sure how to RSVP using the website, but you can always RSVP directly here.
We don't necessarily have a strong preference, however the website RSVP will definitely reach us quicker.
We ask that you RSVP (whether it is yes or no) by October 1st.
Unfortunately, we are not planning to have a live stream during the wedding ceremony or reception, but we will have a wedding day highlights video along with tons of photos thanks to our awesome videographers and photographers!
We have hired an amazing photographer to capture the moments of our special day, therefore we strongly ask that you do NOT take photos during the ceremony.
Official wedding photos will be posted to Facebook and Instagram, although you can always send me your email to receive direct copies.
Yes, although please remember there will be no wedding photos allowed during the ceremony. Make sure you tag us so we can share them too!

The wedding ceremony site is at the Grand Sierra Pointe, which is located at 25712 Foresthill Road in Foresthill, California. The reception (and cocktail hour) will be 1.4 miles down the road at the Forest House Lodge, which is located at 24590 Main Street in Foresthill, California.
Please arrive to the Forest House Lodge between 2:00pm and 3:00pm for drinks and refreshments before the ceremony.
By car, unless you're staying at one of the rental properties within Foresthill.
The ceremony site is a five minute drive up the road from the reception venue. Guests will caravan from the welcome hour, and there is free parking provided at the ceremony site.
Unfortunately we have chosen not to book room blocks, so we do not have any influence on the rates for hotels.

For the wedding party and immediate family, we will have a rehearsal dinner on Friday, November 10th. Other than that, we hope to see you all on November 11th!
We would like everyone who is not vaccinated for COVID19 to take a negative test no less than 24 hours before the event. Thank you for understanding!

Ideally, we would prefer guests shy away from very bright or obnoxious colors and patterns. Since our wedding is during the late fall/early winter, try to keep those color palettes in mind when shopping for an outfit.

Dinner will be a buffet style with a chicken, beef, and vegan option as well as a kids buffet. The venue is equipped with a full bar that will be serving beer, wine, and soda included, in addition to cocktails and mocktails available for purchase.

We would be happy with anything you decide to get us, but we would especially love for people to donate to any of our honeymoon funds, so we can enjoy nice dinners and fun activities while we are in St. Lucia!
Gifts and cards are definitely welcome! We will have a designated area for guests to leave them upon entry.
